A Christian Mystery

India, Egypt, Palestine, Greece, then Alexandria;
Pythagoras, Plato, Jesus, Dante, Islamic Gnosis;
To finally reach Europe with the Cathars, the Knights Templars, the Rosicrucians…

A long golden chain, a whole series of links welded one to the other.

But always the same thought at work, an identical spiritual basis which is to be found under various symbols: Gnosis, The Temple of the Spirit, the Universal Brotherhood.

The Mystery covers all origins: those of the world, those of Christianity, those of Man.

Christ Himself operates in a ‘luminous cloud’; and, when he has deeply rooted the divine throne, three main branches emerge through a profuse vegetation:

The Jewish and traditional branch of St Peter;
The Greek branch of St Paul;
The oriental, Platonic and mystical branch of St John.

To which one of those three primary branches belong the Cathars, the Pyrenean Catharism together with the Aquitainian ‘Maneism’, the Knights Templars and later on the Rosicrucians?

To the last one, of course, to John, Zebedee’s son, to the Lord’s beloved disciple !
